Being able to create a different meaning from book titles is fun and exciting. Enjoy!

Here is an example:
Freedom
(Dedicated to SAF 44)
So, who can say our freedom is free?
It was paid with sacrifice and blood.
T’was never free, it will never be!
So, remember our heroes with glad.
It was paid with sacrifice and blood;
A precious life can never be paid.
So, remember our heroes with glad.
Our freedom is their legacy made.
A precious life can never be paid;
Tons of your gold will never suffice.
Our freedom is their legacy made.
It’s not the bounty; don’t be surprised.
Tons of your gold will never suffice
They fought with honor and gallantry
It’s not the bounty, don’t be surprised
They gave their all so we will be free.
They fought with honor and gallantry
T’was never free, it will never be!
They gave their all so we will be free,
So who can say our freedom is free?
One of the modern ways of writing a story is through creating dialogues. Here are examples that I have written.
1.
“Mom, why do people cry?”
“Son, why do you think you cry?”
“I cry whenever you scold me or when I miss you… when I’m sad. But mom, is there a right time to cry?”
“I guess so! You don’t cry when someone’s cracking a joke!”
“Yes, I think when it’s a joke, one should laugh! But I’m confused when I see someone crying, mom.”
“And what seems to be confusing you?”
“You were crying during our program in school this morning. Are you hurt, mom? Then, I saw you laughing.”
“Oh! Why do you say so? You know I was very happy because you were able to receive a recognition award. And of course, I’m thankful that you were able to finish your school. I’m proud of you, son!”
“So, can I also cry when I’m happy?”
“Well, I was overjoyed, son.”
“You still confuse me, you cry when you are supposed to laugh, and you laugh while you are crying!”
2.
“17th floor please!”
“Ok! Hi! How’s your day?”
“I’m fine. Thank you! How about you?”
“It’s been a long day. I’ve been sitting here the whole day operating this elevator. I feel tired and frustrated but I’m thankful, after a long time, someone finally noticed and had the courage to talk to me. ”
“I’m sorry to hear that! But aren’t your passengers supposed to tell you what floor they are to go?”
“Yes supposed to be but they aren’t. They press the floor number immediately!”
“Uhmm. I see! Anyway, it seems like it’s taking forever to go up!”
“Nah, I don’t know but that’s the sad thing when someone talks to me!”
“And when was the last time someone noticed you and talked to you?”
“More than a year ago, when this elevator went into a mishap and all those inside died of the impact!”
